The route
From Ayia Napa the natural day is east to Cape Greco: the sea caves, the clear water off Konnos, a stop in a sheltered bay for swimming. Leave early or late — mid-afternoon in summer is when every day boat is in the same place. For a sunset celebration, the boat goes out late afternoon and comes back in the dark, which is the best light of the day and the emptiest water.
