- Residential. The marina includes apartments and villas, some with private berths. For owners who want to live alongside their yacht — or base themselves in Cyprus seasonally — this is a distinctive feature few Mediterranean marinas offer.
- Services on site. Concierge, security, fuel, water, and electricity at the berths, waste management. The practical infrastructure of keeping a yacht is handled professionally.
- Accessibility. Limassol is roughly 45 minutes from Larnaca International Airport and a similar distance from Paphos International Airport, making it convenient for owners and guests arriving from abroad.
Berthing at Limassol Marina
Berthing is the question I'm asked most often — both by buyers and by owners considering relocating to the marina.
- Berth options. Berths are available on annual contracts, seasonal arrangements, and short-term visitor stays. Some berths are privately owned (attached to residential property) and may be available for sub-lease.
- Availability. Demand consistently exceeds supply, particularly for larger berths. This matters for buyers: securing a berth should be part of the purchase plan, not an afterthought. I've seen owners complete a purchase only to find there's nowhere to keep the vessel.

- Haul-out. The marina has lifting equipment for vessels across the standard size range. For pre-purchase surveys requiring inspection of the hull below the waterline, haul-out can be arranged on site — a significant practical advantage over marinas where the vessel must be moved elsewhere.
- Maintenance and repair. A range of technical service providers operate in and around the marina — mechanical, electrical, hull, rigging, electronics. For routine maintenance and most repairs, the local network is capable.
- The limits. For major refits or specialized work on large superyachts, the work may still route to yards in Greece, Turkey, or Italy. Limassol covers most needs, but it isn't a full refit destination at the scale of the largest Mediterranean yards. I'll tell you honestly when a job is better done elsewhere.
- Superyacht facilities. For larger vessels, the marina provides the berthing, services, and access that superyacht operations require. For the most specialized technical work, coordination with international yards may still apply.

- Ayia Napa — newer, modern, east coast. Best for mid-size yachts and day use. Limited technical services.
- Larnaca — under redevelopment, close to the airport. Worth watching as the project progresses.
- Paphos — compact harbour, west coast, suited to sailing yachts and catamarans.
For most owners of motor yachts above 15 meters, Limassol is the practical answer. For specific needs — sailing on the west coast, a mid-size yacht with airport proximity — the alternatives have their place.
